So as much fun as we’re going to have at camp, we also have a couple trips planned to attractions close to camp. Each of these will cost you a little extra money on top of your camp fee, but we think they are worth it! So where are we going you may ask?
Bristol Renaissance Faire
Welcome to one of the biggest Renaissance Faires in the US! There are dozens of shows through the day including music, comedy, and jousting, as well as village worth of shops including garb, food, alcohol, jewelry, and all sorts of fascinating shiny things. Costumes are highly encouraged!
You will be responsible for your own admission fee and the costs of any food and souvenirs.
Whose up for a little drinking? This Wisconsin establishment creates apple and pear based wines, ciders, perry, brandy and whiskey!
They offer tastings for $5 a person. You’re responsible for the cost of any additional liquor you may buy.
Adrian’s Frozen Custard
No, its not frozen pudding. Frozen Custard is a creamier cousin to ice cream and a regional food unique to Wisconsin. So of course I can’t have y’all come here without trying some for yourself! And every good Wisconsin girl knows that the best frozen custard comes from rando mom & pop places in little towns just like Adrian’s. You will be responsible for the cost of your own cone.
