Ah, thank you for the prompt! This could be a really interesting story–and it would definitely be a very different story depending on when they arrived. Having them arrive there while he’s still Evil Overlord would be very angsty, while a storyline in which they arrived after the events of the movie would be more light.
And since my headcanon for the M’ega includes kidnapping as a proposal, having them arrive actually *during* the Metro Man day kidnapping could potentially be hilarious.

I really love this; I am very impressed with the way you’ve drawn her tied-up arms and the spikes on his costume. Trying to get the direction of the spikes correct is always really hard for me, as is figuring out the positioning for bound arms; you make both those things look effortless in this!
The curve of his collar and the curve of his head also look really lovely together, especially considered with the shape of Roxanne’s head. The way her head and his collar balance each other in complementing curves; it gives the composition of the piece a visual similarity to a flower blooming, with Megamind’s head as the center, and the collar and Roxanne’s head as the unfurling petals. It brings the focus of the viewer in to the center of the flower, and the focus of the piece: the kiss, and gives the piece a sense of romance.
I also really love their expressions; both of them are focused on the kiss, but Roxanne is more relaxed while Megamind is tense and absolutely intent on the kiss, with his brow furrowed. Like Roxanne is really just enjoying the kiss while Megamind is focused on doing this right and memorizing how this feels. It looks like a much-anticipated and enjoyed first kiss for Roxanne, while for Megamind it looks like a first-and-last kiss. Roxanne thinks in that scene that he kisses her like the world is ending, and you’ve shown that in his expression very well!

Also! I forgot to mention before! I really enjoy the way we can see his hand gripping her hair, and the way her hair has been disarrayed by that. Hands in hair are another thing that I find really difficult to draw, myself, and it would have been easy to get out of having to show his hand there by hiding it on the other side of her head. Making it visible was a much braver and better choice; it really adds to the desperation of his body language, and the tension of the scene!

On the television screen, Miss Ritchi smiles at the camera. Then the picture changes, flipping back to the rerun of the late-night news report in the KCMP studio.
Ensconced in his custom built and specially reinforced armchair beside the couch, Minion clears his throat. Megamind looks over at him inquiringly as he raises the remote and turns the television off—he’s already seen this segment; he watched it earlier when he was waiting for Miss Ritchi’s report to come on.
“Sir,” Minion says, “why are you so worried about this Roxanne Ritchi?”

Ok, resaw this and suddenly got inspired. This is by NO means meant to replace anyone’s suggestions for prompts – throw out anything for better ideas!
I specifically included multiple “variations” (most just my brain leaping to connections) to create lots of ideas for each, and to encourage creativity in interpretation. Only three are tied to specifc days (in bold), the rest are numbered just to make sure I came up with 31.
I’m curious, has anyone else ever commented on this?
I know the character designers for Megamind talk about how they wanted his tech to seem junkyard, scrabbled together, second hand, second stringer. And the brainbots fit with this aesthetic with their irregular jaws.
But I really think in-universe this choice is deliberate? With the super huge underbite and irregular triangular teeth??
