Megamind has this incredible arsenal of equipment and weaponry, but I think his biggest weapon is his heart. It’s his sheer will to do the right thing when he realizes he’s made a horrible mistake, to right it. And I think that that’s equal to all the gadgets that he has.

Feel free to skip this if you’re tired of seeing it xD

Just watched the movie again (what? I’m trying to learn to draw him 😅) and as much as I love most of it (we’ll just skip over the scene in the rain. You know the one), I have to admit this is probably my favourite scene:
There are a few reasons.
– It shows Megamind’s character so well. He likes to tease but essentially, he’s an adorable goof who at the end of the day really just wants to be accepted.
– The poses. OhmyGods the POSES… (Special mention to the sweet little gun twirl when Megamind shoots the wall out, when he pulls it again to cut the ribbon and that head swipe/eyebrow wiggle when he starts dancing. Dear gods… *fans self*)
– The song.
– THE DANCE. Boy got dem moves ❤ ❤
– That one guy in the crowd who confusedly reaches for his wallet before Megamind giggles and tells them he’s just kidding xD
– The statue with Minion scowling from the globe!
**SPOILER** Metro Man possibly starting the rumour that he faked his death (the disguise isn’t THAT good and the woman behind him looks very suspicious!)
– Hal being incarcerated in Megamind’s former cell (Special mention to the guards’ and warden’s head bobs through the window xD)
-Megamind’s genuine look of joy when he looks over the cheering crowd after the Mayor calls him the Defender of Metro City
Well, a year ago today is the day I watched Megamind for the first time and subsequently sold my soul to the film and all its wonderful fan content. Happy Mega-versary to me!!
Also, I watched Rio recently and liked it a lot. Don’t know why I hadn’t watched it sooner since it combines two of my favorite things: animated movies and BIRBS. I’d give it a solid 9/10.
Year two in the Megamind fandom and I’m still drowning in great content. ;P Shout out to everyone involved in this lovely fandom (even if you’re just a casual lover of the film), and yay for Mega-versary #2!!
I’ve had a tough day at work, and checking Tumblr unfortunately hasn’t helped much*.
I really wanted to get a chapter or two of my long stories done tonight, but I am NOT in the mood.
Please, Reblog with the happy. With the fluffy, both MegaRox and animal.
Make this day stop hurting.
* I am literally trauma triggered by feeling helpless. I’m all for people sharing important social issues, but when I’m stressed seeing anything “irl serious” in my feed HURTS.
Hi! I wrote this real fast for you. Its probably a little rough around the edges, but I hope you like it.
In Roxanne’s opinion, it was a good thing that Megamind had turned out to legally own the No-Longer-Evil Lair. This was her opinion because, as she’d discovered since she moved in, living in it was really fun. They had a lakefront view, Megamind was always working on his “latest and most brilliant invention yet” (what that was changed weekly), and when all else failed the brainbots would be happy to play.
Roxanne started down the catwalk from the loft where her room was. At her suggestion, they had built more lofts and catwalks so the Lair practically had a second floor now. And now that Megamind spent more time on his ‘non-eeevil’ inventions, there were idea clouds hanging all over the place.
Megamind was sitting in front of a workbench in his jumpsuit, no cape, wearing a pair of very steampunk magnifying goggles and using tweezers to make adjustments to something in front of him. He didn’t even notice Roxanne coming down the ladder behind him. She started to head toward him, and then paused, a slightly devious but completely genuine smile beginning to grow. She headed in the other direction, and vanished for a while.
