Megamind is an excellent male icon in animated films for the fact that he’s a guy with a big, bold, and tasteful sense of fashion. This is something that animated movies never really do for their male protagonists. Usually guys in animation have boring, casual wear, and never anything that would be considered feminine or bold. Megamind wears freaking eyeliner even. Something that not many kids movies would even dare to do even though its such a simple thing. And never once in the movie is Megamind mocked for his sense of “out there” fashion, even as a villian. Megamind is my queer icon I s2g
