So here I am watching Megamind (yes, again) and I notice something…
The back of the menu during the restaurant scene reads something. So I focus in and see, ‘Le Coeur Brisé.’ This bot, being unfamiliar with French, decides to search said text to find out its meaning.
The result it turns out roughly translates to ‘The Broken-Hearted.’
This makes me both sad… but also amused as to all the couples who choose to dine in such a finely-named establishment. Might as well go eat at, ‘The breakup.’ Or how about wine and dine at the, ‘Overly Attached Ex Who Keeps Texting Me’? (Laughs)
Kudos at any rate, Dreamworks. I always seem to find something new everytime I watch.
The midwest is weird; there’s a town near where I live that’s named ‘Creve-Coeur’, which translates to “Heartbreak”.
It’s not even a stretch for me to believe that this restaurant is named “The Broken-Hearted” LOL.
Dude, this is the best hidden visual joke I’ve ever seen, because like… Megamind and Roxanne get THEIR HEART BROKEN IN THAT RESTAURANT LIKE *flails*
