what is it, cat?
if im need help into tree may i call the fire fighter or does she only help with remove cat from tree? im wish to be up high but donot feel like climb.
…I have done this for my cat before.
she stretch/scratched her claws on the trunk! she looked up at the tree! she looked pointedly at me!
there was really nothing else I could do!
I am doing pretty okay!
I’m waiting on a call from the new psychiatrist’s office to schedule an appointment, and I actually went to the endocrinologist today to see if any of my depression/periodic mood swings could, as my therapist suggested, be partially due to endocrine issues.
The visit was…NOT ideal, but he finally agreed to test my hormones/adrenals after I phrased it “I just want to know for sure there isn’t anything wrong with my endocrine system”. and “I’m working on my depression and anxiety with a therapist and psychiatrist already; I just want to know I shouldn’t be doing some other supplemental thing, too.”
(jeez, you tell a doctor you’re depressed, and they act like it’s because you don’t want to get better; like. buddy. I wouldn’t be at your office if I didn’t want to get better.)
but! like I said, he’s going to do the tests, which is a relief!
And my cat is still doing well after recovering from her illness! 👑Her Majesty, Queen Cat of the World, and Princess of All is a source of great joy to me.
( she loves riding in the car; my mother actually brought her along today when she came to pick me up from the doctor’s ❤ )
(( the cat’s name is actually snooks, but mostly we call her bunny. Or various royal titles, as you can see. Or ‘the cat’. Other cats are cat, but she is the cat. ))
Also-also! My birthday is soon! On February 12th! :DD And I am quite excited about that!

I was carrying my cat down the stairs today because I am worried she will get hurt if she climbs down them herself
and I proceeded to slip on the second stair
and fall
all the way to the landing
(I managed by great and panicked effort to keep the cat from being injured)
My cat then gave me a look of COMPLETE AND UTTER CONTEMPT, climbed out of my arms
and walked down the rest of the stairs herself, leaving me lying on the landing.
Thank you so much! I did have a good Christmas, and a good New Years, too. I got to spend it with my cat, who gave me lots of kisses 😽
She’d been feeling sick before that, and she finally got better enough to play Kiss And Call; one of our favorite games–I lie down on the floor or the bed and call her and beg her and generally make a fool of myself until she deigns to come over and give me a kiss. Then she sashays away just out of reach and watches me, waiting until I’ve called and begged sufficiently to deserve another kiss. This goes on until she decides we’re finished playing.
I’d been so worried about her being sick; it was such a relief that she was feeling better enough to want to play! A lovely way to start to the new year 💖
