So, Megamind is the mysterious blue sorcerer-type of who lives in the dungeon of the castle of the Dark Forest. No one is sure what he is, exactly (There is no one else like him, not in the Dark Forest or the Fairy Kingdom or anywhere else…), but his skills in magic/alchemy/science are undeniable. His potions and creations of magical mischief are famous (or infamous), as is the chaos that was unleashed in the handful of occasions when he managed to escape.
Minion is more goblin-ish in appearance than Megamind. He has a much easier time blending in with the crowd than Megamind does, but some aspects of the robo-suit are still present. (I’m thinking robo-limbs, or an mobility-device of some kind, but I’m flexible. Do what you will.)
Hal is a knight of the Fairy Kingdom: one of the less competent ones. He’s been assigned to guard the recently-appointed ambassador. Despite his best efforts, the beautiful Roxanne Ritchi refuses to be wooed by his protectiveness, his (ill-fitting) armor, or his sweet-talk. He plans on going to the sorcerer who lives in the Dark Forest dungeon to acquire (read: steal, beg, borrow, or buy) a love-potion. Failing that, he’d like something to make himself stronger, faster, and better-looking. Both would be ideal, but what are the chances?
Roxanne Ritchi is a citizen of the Fairy Kingdom. She has some interest in intercultural studies, and due to her excellent qualifications, has recently been appointed as Ambassador to the Dark Forest. (It has been a while since the Fairy Kingdom sent an ambassador to the Dark Forest; hopefully, this will turn out much better than last time.) Unfortunately, her diplomatic visit has barely begun when a certain blue sorcerer escapes from the dungeon and takes over the kingdom! …And the new Evil Overlord of the Dark Forest is not keen on letting the Fairy Kingdom’s diplomatic party leave just yet.
Metro Man is the Crown Prince of the Fairy Kingdom. He is known for his heroism, and good looks, and is universally adored by the populace. Lately, his parents have been pressuring him to start taking on more responsibilities in preparation for the day when he takes the crown. For example, it’s about time he got married: a woman of the Fairy Court, preferably of respectable rank and position, to continue the royal bloodline…. (Secretly, he feels like he’s being crushed by the weight of responsibility. Secretly, he would like to run away to pursue his music, go on the road and become a bard or join a band of traveling players...) When the Fairy Kingdom’s ambassador is captured by the new Overlord of the Dark Forest, he is expected to lead the rescue-mission.
An Evil Overlord, Damsel in Distress, Handsome Prince, Evil Minion, Knight in Shining Armor… and somewhere in the mix, there are some very dangerous magical potions.
Roxanne asks Megamind what she should wear at their wedding, as he has basically been “I want you to be happy, I don’t know much about this human ritual, no matter what you wear you’ll always be beautiful” etc etc.
Roxanne wants to really wow him. She goes to Minion, asks about anything he can remember about the culture of the planet (having learned a few things from Megamind already) Minion only remembers that they held the stars with reverence for such a logical planet. (Which, omg black hole being even worse now)
Roxanne works with Minion on this dress. It looks beautiful, everyone is in awe. The sun is setting as they say their vows. Then… Once they kiss, the dress lights up – and Megamind has a moment when he pulls back from her. She looks like the milky way.
“I always knew you were my universe but… this…” He cries and she pulls him into a hug “I love you too.”

This would be the PERFECT wedding dress for Roxanne and AHHHH holy fuck I wish I knew how to draw because Megamind in that REALLY SPARKLY dress and Roxanne in this one!!! All the yes!! 💙💙💙💙
(Also, would it be…sacrilegious if Roxanne cosplay as Alte-re? ’Cause this dress would be perfect for that, if in a ‘verse where Megamind remembers enough about M’ega to know the stories about Alte-re and Ivri-roh. And I think Roxanne would love that story, and Megamind dressing up as Ivri-roh is making my heart feel melty and warm.)
It wouldn’t be sacrilegious, no! The M’ega have a holiday that involves dressing up as various things, deities included.
M’ega don’t think about sacrilege like that; blasphemy is, like–doing terrible things ‘in the name of’ one of the deities. Comparing yourself / someone else to a deity isn’t blasphemy.
In Code: Safeword, when Megamind calls Roxanne “Roxanne-alte”, Roxanne asks if that would be blasphemy, and he says “probably, but I don’t care”. It wouldn’t be, actually; he just doesn’t have a lot of solid cultural information and assumes it would be blasphemous based on his earth upbringing.
What if Roxanne sometimes got really bad nightmares
about Megamind dying?
What if this one night she got a nightmare so bad
(Megamind’s brain is splattered all over the floor ,there’s blood all over the
place and all over her,his dead eyes are staring at her and everyone else
around her is laughing)she actually woke up covered in cold sweat and
crying.And that morning Minion shows up to kidnap her but he can see that
something is wrong with Roxanne and he goes extra easy on her like yes he knows
it’s Saturday and it’s probably her day off but orders are orders and…
Well, long story short he sprays her and takes her to
Megamind.
When they come there Roxanne is concious again and can
hear Megamind and Minion talking but she can’t see anything because of the
darned bag over her head.Then she realises she’s not tied and removes the bag
and…
And….
He’s there….
He’s fine…
Thank God ,he’s fine!
Megamind notices Roxanne looking at them and goes all
ballistic on Minion like
-MINION!!!!I TOLD YOU TO TIE HER UP!!!!-
-B-but Sir I-
-GO TIE HER UP RIGHT-
And he has no time to finish his sentence because
Roxanne threw herself onto him enveloping him in a tight hug whispering
-Thank God,thank God,thank God….-
And Megamind is all like „WTF is this why would she
hug me wtf??!?!“(Not that he minds the hug 😉 )
And he’s standing there,stiff as a board looking at
Minion with a look that says „HELP!!!!“ but Minion has no idea what to do
either.
Then Megamind thinks“Ok what’s going on with-„ and he
looks her in the face and sees that she’s crying.
Megamind is in a state of panic right then.Why is Miss
Richi crying??What does he do??Did something bad happen to her??
It’s clear there will be no evil plan to fail at today.
Megamind takes the still crying Roxanne to the living
room and Minion goes to make some tea for them.
And they sit down and Roxanne is still crying and
Megamind is really,REALLY worried for her a this point because „Roxanne Richi
never cries what’s the matter with her?“
He asks her if something happened,did anyone hurt her
or threatened her or something but she just stays silent and crying and
Megamind is really frustrated at this point and he just wants her to tell him
what’s the matter.
On the other hand ,does he really expect she’d say
ANYTHING to him?He’s the bad guy for God’s sake!
But Roxanne doesn’t want to tell him she had a
nightmare about him dying.
She can’t say“I thought you were dead and seeing you
here,alive filled me with such relief and happines that I just had to run over
and hug you to see if you’re really there because I-„
No, she can’t say that can she?
A kidnapee
shouldn’t say that to the man that kidnaps her on a daily basis.
Meanwhile ,Minion brought tea the both of them and as they slowly drink it ,it seems that
Roxanne calmed down a bit.
Megamind thinks it would be best to send Miss Richi
home,but judging by her….current state …it woudn’t be a good idea to leave her
alone, so he tells her she can stay in the lair if she wants to.
To Megamind’s surprise she says yes.
So he says he’ll go change and he’ll be right back and
when he comes back he’s wearing a simple black shirt,black pants and…those bat
slippers from the movie XD.
At first Roxanne is surprised because she never saw
Megamind wearing anything besides his beloved leather/spiky chlotes but then
she notices the bat slippers and can’t help but to laugh.
Megamind looks at her
with a puzzled expression,but he
thinks“Hey ,at least she’s laughing….“
Anyway the two spend the rest of the day just talking
about different stuff.
The next morning Minion goes to see where Megamind is
and he finds him with Roxanne lying on the couch like:
Okay, so, due to me getting confused about pronouns, I read this prompt as “two tabloids are doing stories about pregnant women, both tabloids claiming that Roxanne is one of the ‘pregnant women’–one tabloid claims that Roxanne’s baby is Metro Man’s, the other tabloid claims that it’s Megamind’s.”
It was only after writing something with that prompt in mind that I went back and realized you meant that there were two pregnant women who were not Roxanne–one woman claims in one tabloid that her baby is Metro Man’s; the other woman claims in another tabloid that her baby is Megamind’s.
SO UH. this prompt kind of went in a direction different from what you meant…and there’s no actual pregnancy, just pregnancy rumors, because pregnancy, especially unplanned pregnancy, squicks me, but, um. for what it’s worth, I’m going to be posting the thing I wrote for it in a minute?? hopefully you will still be interested.
