Human anatomy taking too long so here’s another pony Roxanne.
I’m trying to figure out her colour scheme. Something peachy or pink is an obvious choice, but it’s also pretty boring, and purple looking fresh, but also stabbing my eyes a bit.
And I’m not sure about if I’m gonna add any cutiemark whatsoever. I don’t think it should be a microphone, or any other reporter’s equipment. Her talent should be represented in something more.. abstract. But I have no idea, honestly.
a star on fire? a star for brilliance, and the fire that indicates she’s passionate about things.
a heart on fire? she cares very deeply about things, and she’s got a talent for making people care about things, too– ‘setting hearts on fire’.

hooo boi it’s been some time but since it came up i kinda feel a bit nostalgic so here is a redraw with quickly improvised cutiemark based on your first suggestion a little pointed star with something like flames (she is a star reporter and it’s also a nod to her extraterrestrial boyfriend)

I love the way you drew it, with the star being more complex and sharply pointed, and the blue and red flames! The position of the flames makes the mark look a little bit like a torch, which makes me think of victory and ‘lighting the way’. It suits her so well!

i’m glad we all agree on megamind being a bicon 😀 also i’ve gathered some people headcanon minion as aro and/or ace, i hc him as aro, hence the text for the aro flag. “renny” is to “parent” what “daddy” is to “father” and some of the new generation bots are up for adoption now that megamind is helping the city, so i thought it made sense for the nonbinary flag

I drew fan art for @setepenre-set’s Megamind fanfic / Mermaid AU Dangerous Currents. I, uh, know it’s a little late but! I didn’t have an account when other people were doing it so it’s now or never. I only had my kindle fire to take pictures so the quality is nonexistent, but… I tried.
Ohhhhh this is so entirelygorgeous. The muscles and the collar bones are beautifully drawn, and I love the pose–leaning back like that, with his lovely tail so gracefully curled. It looks so natural, especially with the way his left hand is on the outside of his tail. That detail really emphasizes that the tail is part of his body. And the way the tail blends into his upper body so smoothly emphasizes that as well.
And I really like the way you drew the mark on his chin, the one that looks a bit like his canon goatee but isn’t–the mark, as you’ve drawn it: a narrow line without the outwards flare at the bottom that his canon goatee has–it really does look more like a skin marking here, rather than facial hair!
He’s definitely a freshwater fish; his species is indigenous to the Great Lakes, and the freshwater fin frills are really visually pleasing and fit his body so well! I love how snakelike he looks; it fits in so well with his snakelike appearance and movement in the fic itself. The gills, too, are very natural looking, and that neck frill! ahhh the neck frill! So beautiful!

And you noticed little things I worked so hard on! Like the collarbones and the frill! Oh, I am melting.
It doesn’t look weird or freakish at all; it’s very lovely and natural looking–even just his arms, which are so difficult for me, personally, to draw correctly, but these look so effortlessly right. And his torso, with the muscles and the way it leads into his tail! It just looks really correct.
Also your lines look so smooth and confident, and the shading is so beautiful and subtle!

I ummm… didn’t think this out at all but now is not the time to lose my nerve!! I came here for Megamind because I found a fic called Code: Safe Word by @setepenre-set and I saw a bunch of other fics by the same person and i was like “Oh!! Megamind has a fandom!! And it isn’t dead and OMG ALL THE CONTENT IS GREAT AND” and I sort of started stalking some people including set, @displacerghost, @ramendobe, and others I can’t think of right now. And I decided I would like to put my own content here, and talk to people, and that stuff… soo.. I’m here.
